Jaid Smith's lifelong love of music began with singing along to piano rolls on his grandfather's player piano.  He began piano lessons at age 8 and continued them through high school.  Eventually he continued his study of music, receiving a Professional Music Certificate from Portland Community College.  He then graduated from the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology. 

Jaid is now a Registered Piano Technician, having passed a series of exams administered by the Piano Technicians Guild to demonstrate competence in all aspects of piano tuning and repair.  He consistently strives to provide quality, full service piano care.
